After series of screening and initial interview, finalists for this year’s Benjamin V. Tan Most Outstanding Male Students were finally listed, both in Junior High School and College Level. Let us have a sneak peek of the astounding profile of the finalists:

JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL

Finalist # 1 : MR. ARNOLD D. ABANG, JR.

School: Lucena City National High School

Three Most Significant Achievements:

  • Consistent Honor Student
  • 14 National Science Quest  (Poster Making Contest Participant)
  • LCNHS Arts Club President

 

 

Finalist # 2: MR. PAUL CHRISTIAN TANGUILAN

School: Maryhill College

  • 2016 Regional Schools Press Conference Participant

 

 

Finalist # 3: MR. ROI VINCENT MERCA

Finalist # 1: MR. LLOYD VINCE ARCEO

  • 2nd Place, National Finance Competition
  • Junior Philippine Institute of Accountant TOP 50 Asset (National Level)

 

 

Finalist # 2: MR. ARBY LAGMAN

Department: College of Arts and Sciences

Three Most Significant Achievements:

  • Consistent Scholar (College and University Scholar)
  • Top 20 Finalist (Rizal Model Students of the Philippines 2016)
  • Most Outstanding Organization President (MSEUF 5th Rodolfo Alvarez Awards)

 

 

Finalist # 3: MR. MELLJONH PESIGAN

Department: College of Business and Accountancy (CBA)

Three Most Significant Achievements:

  • Consistent Scholar (College and University Scholar)
  • 2ND Place, National Finance Cup
  • JFINEX (MSEUF Chapter) President 2016 – 2017

 

 

The finalists will undergo the final interview this March 10 to determine who will be named as Most Outstanding Student 2017. Part of the judging is the ONLINE POPULAR VOTE where public may vote to who they deserve to be named as this year’s Most Outstanding Male Students. To vote, follow the link goo.gl/salRjB.

This search is organize by the Honor Society of the Lambda Kappa Phi, the first fraternity founded in Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation (formerly Luzonian Colleges). To determine the Most Outstanding Male Students, the following criteria will be used:

60 % – Interview

35% – Portfolio / Record Evaluation

5% – Online Popular Vote
